What are some trip options for an eight day trip?

A couple of popular ones would be the Hunter's Island Route along the border and through the Quetico or along the border from Lac La Croix to Saganaga. Some big water in there, but good trips. If you have a chance, take a look at Bob Beymer's books on routes. Many good ones in there.
