Ann, this is a very difficult question. Different sections of the BWCA offer different ecosystems, sights, wildlife and experiences. Some of it is along well traveled routes, other is very remote. I can't imagine limiting myself to only one entry point, one lake, one end, etc. You won't be disappointed with any part of it you'd like to see. If annual trips are an option, start at one end and work your way towards the other.
