I had someone ask me what were the best dogsled routes.... since I haven't done any overnight dogsled trips, I'm not sure. Suggestions anyone?

All kinds of possibilities. Some of the most used are up to Basswood and Knife Lake. Some circle route possibilities with this exist, but many times it's up and back.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

The three that are most accessible are Fall Lake to Basswood, Moose lake to Knife or basswood, and Snowbank to Thomas Lake. The latter being the most fun.

These routes have good winter portages any where else and you need good ice skills as you usually have to use only summer portages which are not always safe given moving water.
