Are all campsites and activities dog friendly?

If your dogs like the outside loving dogs, certainly. Be aware that there are some rules and common courtesies for bringing dogs into the Boundary Waters.

True! Clean up after your dog, don't let it bark incessantly at people and even if your dog is very people friendly, not all people are happy to have a dog run up to them (especially if it is a big dog).

I've never had any problems with any dogs I've met on the canoe trail, of course, I love all dogs.

Within the Boundary Waters, dogs are allowed at all campsites. I believe that is also the case with all the Superior National Forest campsites surrounding the BWCA. This may not be the case at all commercial campgrounds surrounding the BWCA, but I haven't heard of any specifically banning pets. The developed SNF campgrounds do enforce noise violations.
