If you are looking for snow you will still find it here. Try back country skiing at George H Crosby-Manitou. The trails are not groomed, but if you have the right equipment and plenty of stamina, try some bushwacking on these wild trails. The warm temperatures are making the snow mushy especially when you get off the most heavily used trails. Crosby-Manitou also has some of the best back country snowshoeing in Minnesota. Snowshoe rentals available at Tettegouche. Great park for winter camping too! Check North Shore State Trail - Finland to Grand Marais for snowmobile trail conditions at and near George H Crosby-Manitou.
