Yeah, I can help you out.
First off...it is pretty long. (It's no Grand Portage, but it's one of the longest in the BWCA)
There's a lot of ups and downs, and a high likelihood there will be water on the trail (especially in the spring).
The trail itself isn't muddy, except for a marshy area on the missing link side, but there are handy boardwalks to help with that, just don't fall off.
About 1/3 of the way through there is a landing to a small lake -- I forget what the name is -- but it's NOT Tuscarora, so don't get confused.
The only thing i would be wary of is the descent at the end (going from Missing Link to Tuscarora)...there is a rocky downhill...keep your stern up!
Oh, and the wind is VERY strong on Tuscarora...be careful, look before you cross the lake -- it's a long way when there's a headwind (and there's ALWAYS a headwind) and use those islands to your advantage.
