Photo must have been taken by the individual who posts it (you can have help posting your images though).
Photos may be from any year.
You may submit up to ten images each month.
Photos can be uploaded to the board (preferred method), or they may be hosted on your own server or hosting service (such as photobucket)
Submissions will be accepted through September 30th, 2009.
Photographers retain the rights to their photographs.
When posting, please refrain from posting HUGE image files. An ideal size is 640 x 480. If you use the "attachment" button, the image will be resized automatically for you. (Instructions for using the attachment tool: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=1469&p=3900#p3900)

It would be great if you can share as much information as you can about the photo.

Prize:
Receive a 1 lb sack of Midwest Proven Wildflowers courtesy of American Meadows.
This premium mixture features our famous native prairie wildflowers, and has been used by homeowners and commercial planters all over the midwest for almost 20 years. Expect a burst of annual color just a few weeks after seeding, plus increased bloom year after year from a great group of perennials. Plant spring or late fall. This mixture contains 31 wildflowers, 14 annuals for first-year color, plus 17 perennials or biennials for second and successive years' bloom.

Judging:
The wildflower photography contest will be judged by Bruce Selyem. Bruce is professional photographer out of Bozeman, Montana. He is known for is wildflower photography (including the BWCA), and his name is synonymous for photography of "Prairie Cathedrals", or grain elevators. His work has been featured in magazines, newspapers, books, and calendars.

Come on, someone has to have a picture or two of wildflowers? Working too much to get to see them in person. :-)
Not to commercialize, but just to let you know I am one of those "outfitter types" :-)

Working too much to get any posted, Lynn! Hopefully I'll get some this week.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Here is a picture I took while attending a photo workshop with Craig Blacklock. It is a Marsh-Marigold taken this spring.
