I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

This photo was taken on Grassy Island South on Lake Kabetogama, Voyageurs National Park

My husband plays for us at our campsite on Rose Lake, where we spent two nights before moving on to Rat Lake, South and North Lakes, Little Gunflint and Gunflint Lake

A neat pattern on a tree along the Border Route Trail near Rose Lake. Was this made by a bird? Or insects?

Was this made by a bird?

By a yellow bellied sapsucker.

There are a lot of great images and ideas here. The image that speaks to me the strongest is the yellow bellied sapsucker pattern.

I tried to imagine all the images as the same size. This one draws you in and makes you ask questions.

My vote.

Thanks for letting me participate.

Best Regards,

- T.

Oh, wow, thank you! I just called my husband at work to tell him. Now we're definitely going back to the Boundary Waters next summer to use our goodies! (Well, we were going anyway.)

Thanks so much, T.

This images are very cool. If I were a judge, a big problem for me to choose who will be the winner. As time goes by, photography continue inspiring me. :o
