Spring Trips to the Border Route Trail
We have two types of trips: Non-mechanized trips within the BWCAW using hand tools such as crosscut saws and nippers and Mechanized trips outside of the BWCAW using power brushcutters and chain saws. USFS certification required for crosscut and chain saw operation, OJT provided for brushcutter operation.
The trip cost includes transportation to and from the Twin Cities, lodging (cabin or tent), all food except for the trip up and back. The deposit is the same as the trip cost and is refundable if cancellation is made prior to one week before the trip date. Trip costs are tax deductible. Packing lists and trip details are available from the contact people. All trips leave the evening of the first date and return on the evening of the last date.
