Have there been any problem bears in the area of Angleworm Lake / Angleworm Trail?

Erik just informed me that no one had answered your bear question last August. :-(

We didn't have many bear problems at all last year, just a bit around Snowbank & Ensign. Did you go to the Angleworm area this year?
Not to commercialize, but just to let you know I am one of those "outfitter types" :-)

We saw bear scat (poop) on our backpacking trip to Angleworm last September, but didn't see any bears. The scat was only on the entry trail where there had been the most people traveling. Once we were further back on the trail there was no sign of bear. We did tie up our food in a tree, that also keeps any curious mice from invading our trail mix!
