I would be very interested to read more about BCWA winter camping from guides, experienced campers and those like me who long to try it.

Right now I am in the information gathering phase of my plans to make a trip to enjoy the stark beauty and solitude of a simple winter camp site up North.

Please at least say Hi and let me know if you would like to share in this conversation.

I enjoy winter camping, snowshoeing, dogsledding, and cross country skiing. I haven't camped in tent in the winter, nor have I used a special sleeping bag. Each time I have camped, I have built a snow hut. I have simply shoveled a large pile of snow and then dug out the inside. It stays quite toasty. :-)
