Carbon Monoxide

Postby bwca » Fri Dec 26, 2008 10:08 am

I haven't camped with a heater, but I have heard of many who haul in heaters or have lanterns in their tents. Besides the fire hazard, one needs to be very careful of carbon monoxide poisoning. Consider bringing along a battery powered CO detector, or leaving the heaters behind. I have been very successful building snowhuts - no heater necessary.
